Predictive analytics
Statistical models trained on historical and live market data estimate probable near-term movement across tracked instruments, updated as new data arrives rather than on a fixed schedule.
Waenfawr applies institutional-style predictive models to market data on a continuous basis, surfacing risk-adjusted recommendations without requiring daily chart reading or manual research.
The dashboard presents model confidence, exposure, and signal status for each tracked instrument, refreshed after every trading session.
Reviewing price movements, filings, and macro releases by hand takes hours most people with a job or a business do not have spare. By the time a pattern is spotted manually, the window to act on it has often narrowed considerably.
Waenfawr was built to close that gap. Our models ingest structured and unstructured data continuously, apply the same statistical techniques used in larger trading desks, and convert the output into a short list of actionable recommendations — reviewed, not guessed.
Each capability operates on the same underlying data pipeline, so recommendations stay consistent across the figures you see and the logs you can audit.

Every recommendation carries an exposure estimate alongside it, so position sizing decisions can account for drawdown risk rather than relying on the signal alone.
Recommendations are weighted against your stated risk tolerance and time horizon, streamlining decisions that would otherwise require cross-referencing several separate tools.
We publish an open log of every recommendation Waenfawr issues, including the reasoning behind it, rather than asking subscribers to take our word for it.
| Instrument | Signal type | Confidence | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| FTSE-linked ETF | Exposure reduction | Moderate | Logged |
| Gilts, short duration | Hold | High | Logged |
| Large-cap equity basket | Accumulation | Moderate | Under review |
Illustrative extract of the log format. The live table, with current entries, becomes visible once you access the dashboard.
Each entry is timestamped at the moment the model issues a recommendation, before any outcome is known. Entries are not edited retrospectively — amendments are appended as new rows, never overwritten.
Subscribers can cross-reference log timestamps against publicly available price data for the same instruments. Discrepancies raised through the support channel are reviewed and, where confirmed, corrected openly in the log itself.
The intention is passive oversight, not a second job. Most subscribers spend a few minutes a week reviewing the dashboard rather than monitoring markets throughout the day.
You connect the instruments or markets you want tracked. Waenfawr begins pulling relevant pricing, volume, and news data into the pipeline within the same session.
Predictive models assess the incoming data against historical patterns, producing a confidence-rated recommendation rather than a flat buy or sell instruction.
Recommendations appear on your dashboard with supporting rationale. You decide whether, and how, to act — Waenfawr does not place trades on your behalf.
Account and connection data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Waenfawr only requests read access to the market data feeds you authorise and does not require banking credentials to generate recommendations.
No predictive model is correct on every signal, and Waenfawr does not claim otherwise. Each recommendation is published with its confidence rating attached, and outcomes — correct or not — remain visible in the public log rather than being removed.
Most accounts are generating recommendations within the same session as sign-up, once data sources are connected. Onboarding is staged in small cohorts to keep processing capacity stable for existing subscribers.
Waenfawr is priced as a subscription to the analysis itself, not as a fund, so there is no minimum capital requirement to view recommendations. How much, if anything, you choose to act on remains entirely your decision.
Dashboard access is staged in limited cohorts so that model processing and support response times stay consistent for subscribers already onboard.
